Elaine Walzl - Ceramic and Garden Art

I create garden art as well as vases and bowls with hand-painted flowers and textures. I start with a symmetrical wheel-thrown vessel. Since I like organic shapes with motion, I then alter the profile by manipulating the piece and adding handbuilt detail.

Take Hwy 99W to Lafayette, turn right at Monroe St. (next to Schoolhouse Antiques). Turn right on 7th. Make the next left onto Jackson. Jackson becomes 10th Ct., turn right on Monroe, continue straight and make a right on 13th Ct. The house and studio are at the end of the cul-de-sac.
