Kathy Thompson - Mosaics, Tiles, and Hand-built Vessels

The tiles in my mosaic artwork are hand cut from clay, bisque fired and individually glazed. After a final kiln firing, the tiles are arranged and set in concrete mortar. Each piece takes several weeks from beginning to completion. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them.

From Yamhill, at the blinking light intersection of Hwy 240 and Hwy 47, go west on Moores Valley Rd. for approximately 2.5 miles. Be sure to veer left at the “Y”s. After crossing the bridge, turn right to stay on Moores Valley Rd. Turn left onto Rockyford Rd. Turn right onto the first road. Go to the barn.
