My personal approach to painting can be summarized by a quote I once read: “To paint a mountain you must climb it, or you will not be able to capture its essence.” Without such personal involvement in a painting, the work will not come alive.

From Hwy 99 in McMinnville, head toward the downtown district, turn east on 3rd St. Go to Ford St. and turn right. Turn left on Storey St., crossing the railroad tracks, then turn left on Rummel St. Go 2 blocks to Shady St. and turn right, travel to the end of the gravel road to the last house.
