Wendy Thompson - Colored Pencil and Mixed Media

It takes considerable time and patience to complete a colored pencil painting. I find this quite meditative and therapeutic. When working, my thoughts return to the quiet places of the woods and ponds, and I strive to emulate this in my work, to convey a sense of quietude and tranquility.

From downtown McMinnville at 3rd and Adams St. (Hwy 99W), drive east on 3rd St. Turn left onto NE 3rd St. just before the Doran auto dealership. Follow NE 3rd around the curve to 1425 NE 3rd. From Hwy 18 or Three Mile Lane, turn right onto NE 3rd St. Keep to the right and go half a block to 1425 NE 3rd St.
