David Hanson - copper working

David Hanson
copper working

My copper art involves manipulating raw material with a hammer to create beautiful and functional forms. Self-taught over many years, I have learned that true satisfaction comes from envisioning a form and then bringing it to life. My hope is that you will appreciate my philosophy: quality is important to me; perfection is not.

Directions: From McMinnville take Hwy 18 west to the Dairy Queen and turn right onto Gopher Valley Rd. Drive about 7 miles to the end of the pavement and turn left onto Thompson Mill Rd. Drive about 2.5 miles to the top of the ridge intersection with Rock Creek Rd. Our house is on the left, the only one you will see.

From Sheridan, come up to the top of Rock Creek Rd. (off of the Sheridan/Willamina Business Loop), for about 9 miles—the last 2 miles on gravel—keep coming down the hill and you will see the house on the right, before Thompson Mill Rd.
