Jim Hayes - lapidary and silver jewelry

Jim Hayes
lapidary and silver jewelry

This year I’m using more Oregon agates and jaspers in my lapidary work. In the shapes I cut, I strive to bring out the best landscape, plume or dendrites from the rough stone. In my metalwork, I enjoy creating a setting complimentary to the patterns in the stone, while also incorporating both formal Asian or casual, organic designs.

Jim and Linda Hayes share their studio.

Turn right up the gravel Hacker Rd. for about 300 feet. The studio and house are on the left in the oak trees. Park by the green metal barn.
