Linda Hayes
handcrafted jewelry

I continue to enjoy incorporating vintage bits and pieces into my jewelry designs this year. Experimenting with some less traditional media such as fiber, images, and found objects helps me to express a concept or narrative, and gives the piece an amulet-like quality. Sometimes this opens a door of imaginative connection with the viewer that is always rewarding for me.

Linda and Jim Hayes share their studio.

Directions: From Newberg, follow Hwy 240 to Yamhill. At the blinking light at the intersection with Hwy 47, turn right. Go 5 blocks, passing the high school on your right and turn left at the green sign that says Pike Rd./Menefee Park. Look at your odometer and go 4 miles out Pike Rd. Turn right up the gravel Hacker Rd. for about 300 feet. The studio and house are on the left in the oak trees. Park by the green metal barn.
