As a smile cheers the weary, I believe a painting should lift up the viewer. Whether painting a field or in a garden, my hope is to be a witness to the scene’s atmosphere. The warmth of the sun, a soft, cool breeze, this is what I wish to share with you.

Directions: From Portland, take Hwy 99W to Sherwood. Turn north (right) on Roy Rogers Rd. Turn west (left) on Scholls-Sherwood Rd. and continue to Scholls Ferry Rd. Turn south (left) and go approximately 2 miles to Jaquith Rd. Turn west (right) and go 1 mile on Jaquith, to the 3rd house on the left.

From Newberg on Hwy 99W, turn north (right) on Hwy 219 (College St.). Continue over the summit of Chehalem Mountain towards Scholls. Three miles past the summit, turn west (left) on Jaquith Rd. Go 1 mile on Jaquith, to the 3rd house on the left.
