Reclaimed & Recycled Painting

I make abstract expressionist work using reclaimed construction materials. I focus on color, shape, texture, and what I think of as perfect imperfection. I rarely start with a fixed image, just a few memories, photos, or colors as I try to hold onto those ideas each piece comes together, layer shaped by trial and error, built from fragments of images, memories, and color.

The Farm Studio: 18220 Southwest Hook and Eye Lane, McMinnville, OR 97128

From McMinnville, head 4 miles south on 99W to Wilson. Turn right onto River Bend Road and cross two sets of railroad tracks. Continue for 3 miles, turn left on first gravel road, which is Hook and Eye Ln.  Follow south for 3 miles to three white buildings, my studio.

From Amity, head south on Hwy 99W, turn right on 5th St, cross the bridge, then turn right at Lancefield Road.  Continue on the gravel road for 2 miles, cross the railroad tracks. The studio in on the left.
